Sleep Through the Static was produced by JP Plunier, who was the producer of Jack’s first album Brushfire Fairytales. Jack’s band consists of long time members Adam Topol (Drums) and Merlo Podlewski (Bass), and Zach Gill (Keys) who joined the band during the tour to support In Between Dreams. The Album was recorded 100% on Solar Energy.

Well the song “Sleep Through The Static,” which is a title on the record that was the song that kind of points out that people, including myself at times, like we have the power to turn the war on and off with the push of a button on the remote control, and just thinking about how something like that going on they are going to zone out from it, sleep through the static and kind of get into our own lives again if we want. The static of the television. Or the static of just everything going on in the world, like all this information in the media and how it’s just the world is buzzing now with technology. You can kind of read it anyway you want, but I guess for me it could be seen as a positive or a negative. I guess I was being a little bit cynical.
