Voltily intrepid Lyle Dennis, proprietor of GM-Volt.com, has just returned from a tour of the top secret Chevy Volt laboratories, aka “GM’s Chevy Volt E-Flex Design studio.” He went armed with camcorder in hand and has posted a clip showing aerodynamics testing on a 1/3 scale model that is wrapped in camouflage. When will the final Volt design be revealed? Dennis reports that GM final car designs generally make their public appearance roughly two years before the car reaches production. FYI, Dennis’s vid used Survivor’s The Eye of the Tiger as a music bed; we thought it might be a bit more susty to to let the images speak for themselves. [30 seconds]
