Join <a href="http://susty.com/hack/people-biography/bette-midler-biography-entertainer-urban-sustainability-advocate/" target="_self">Bette Midler</a>'s <a href="http://susty.com/hack/organizations-institutions/new-york-restoration-project-nyrp-organization/" target="_self">New York Restoration Project (NYRP)</a> and hundreds of volunteers on October 4th for Earthkeepers Dig it Day, and help spread the green. This tree-planting event - sponsored by <a href="http://susty.com/tag/timberland" target="_self">Timberland</a> - will bring 300 New Yorkers together to dig in and support <a href="http://susty.com/earth/forests-flora/million-trees-nyc-mayor-michael-bloomberg-think-globally-plant-locally-new-york-city-planyc-sustainability-go-green-five-boroughs-parks-restoration/" target="_self">MillionTreesNYC</a>.
