One specific thing any Susty-shopper should look out for is that the companies we support walk the walk of treating everyone with the same respect, dignity and human rights as the next guy, gal or anyone in between. The website buyEquality.com is a business directory and search engine that lets you find companies that support LGBT Equality. Founded in 2007 by Joe Russella Pollard after discovering that his local gas station financially supported discrimination against LGBTs, buyEquality is the product of his research which found that he was spending thousands of dollars a year at companies that discriminated against him. He realized that there had to be a better way to shop, and began to research companies as well as ask them to put their support for LGBT Equality in writing. BuyEquality allows you to:
