Gorgeous-looking e-book reader Eucalyptus was being banned from sale in the iTunes App Store on the basis that it could deliver pornographic content, namely, the Kama Sutra that ancient text which acts as a manual for living a good and full life. After a blog-tweet-fuss-fest, Apple has relented from its position not to publish the app. Wired notes that the original decision seems to have stemmed from a knee-jerk reaction of someone at Apple who saw the name Kama Sutra on the downloadble books lists believing it to be a sex manual, which it isn’t, although it does contain some sex advice.
